Michelle Weiss is the President and Director of Female Veterans Alliance. While in service to her country, Ms. Weiss was twice deployed with an Air and Rescue Unit to the Middle East, where she sustained injuries. Ms. Weiss worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as a psychometrist and with a variety of private non–profit organizations in helping to find permanent housing for homeless veterans and their families. Ms. Weiss has conducted domestic violence clinics at a US Marine Base in Quantico, Virginia and at US Army Bases at Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina and Fort Drum in Fort Drum, New York. Ms. Weiss Has completed undergraduate degree programs in psychology, child behavior science, and graduated with her Doctorate in 2020.

Harley Lippmann is a Director of Female Veterans Alliance. Mr. Lippmann is founder and chief executive officer of Genesis 10, a business and technology consulting firm. Mr. Lippmann launched an initiative at Genesis 10 to mentor and train veterans in a variety of in demand civilian fields and has become increasingly involved with organizations that support returning US military veterans with the services, training and tools necessary for both personal and professional success. Mr. Lippmann is the President of American-Israel Friendship League and Executive Committee Member of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee; Mr. Lippmann serves by Presidential appointment as a member of the Commission of the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad and as member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. Mr. Lippmann has a Masters of Arts degree in International Affairs from Columbia University.

Laurie Harkness is a Director of Female Veterans Alliance. She is Co-Director of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Interdisciplinary Fellowship Program and Director of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Firm in Connecticut. Dr. Harkness is an Associate Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine and Director of the Errera Community Care Center, a Veterans Affairs facility. She is currently working through the US Department of Veterans Affairs to develop transitional housing for veterans re-entering the community from prison. Dr. Harkness is a grant writer and consultant for State of Connecticut Next Steps, a permanent housing project and is Associate Editor of the Journal of Rehabilitation and Research Development. Dr. Harkness received a Masters in Social Work from the University of Connecticut and a Ph.D. from New York University, School of Social Work.

Joanna Lee Silberg is a Director of Female Veterans Alliance. She is a licensed psychologist in Maryland and is a consulting psychologist with The Sheppard Pratt Health System where she coordinates services and provides therapy for children. She is the owner of Childhood Recovery Resources where she does consulting, therapy, and forensic evaluation for children. Dr. Silberg is Executive Vice-President of the Leadership Council on Child Abuse & Interpersonal Violence and Senior Associate Editor of the Journal of Child & Adolescent Trauma. Dr. Silberg received a Masters of Arts and Ph.D. in Psychology from Ohio State University.
